People at work say Suarez should face a 2 year to life ban from all football.

Some have even said Uruguay should be kicked out of the world cup and Italy reinstated.

Others say Suarez is a rapid animal and should be put down 😋😃

My Opinion is that they should sack Hodgson from the England job, people say who can replace him - l can name three new managers, Redknapp, Mourinho and Greg Dyke.

And on the Suarez incident, he should be totally banned from ALL football, and Liverpool should sacked him. For bringing the game into disrepute.

David Bick has an agenda on SkyNews. #YNWA.

He says punishment wont solve this issue regarding Suarez. Agreed. But he basically says Suarez should be given another chance  He also said TheFA getting involved will be purely to divert attention away from Englands failures. Suarez has assaulted players on the pitch but his career shouldn't be hampered by it.

Incredible stuff.

3 times as well, so he would have been at 3 different companies biting people. And the companies would have known.

So unless it was a cannibal company "Lecter snacks", he would be out, sacked and no easy life.

He had help from Steve Peters last season, he kept his nose clean, knuckled down and won several awards. Perhaps he is just beyond redemption or perhaps he's just a crafty piece of work and knowingly pulls controversial stunts to get himself a move. It worked for him at Ajax.

I think he needed a psychiatrist not a psychologist but whatever the much vaunted mr Peters did it clearly wasn't enough to get this biting thing out of his psyche because imo biting isn't crafty it's the product of a damaged mind and the cosseted existence he and most pro footballers enjoy.

One of the papers seemed to hint that if Suarez agreed to undergo mandatory anger management sessions they would consider reducing the ban. Personally, I think one more bite should see him banned for life,, once you could argue was foolishness, twice regrettable but three times is excessive. A 10 year old boy is facing expulsion from school because he bit someone during a kickabout during playtime so Suarez has made an impression on him1

And Mexico should have had a penalty and possible red or at least yellow for kicking a player in the head in the box.:p:

Re: World Cup 2014

Haven't watched much of it but there's been some great exciting football. I do wish players would cut out all the disgraceful diving and blatant histrionics though. It's ironic that, whilst the powers that be are worried about match fixing, so much cheating evident on the football field gets overlooked and goes unpunished.

Unlike 'Jaws' Suarez, Robben has at least admitted diving (albeit not for the last minute penalty) but I'd have a great deal more respect for him if he'd stayed on his feet, just as he did later on in the match. It's a great pity that players with amazing skill feel they need to resort to cheating.

Vlaar couldnt help it that his legs can go higher than the mexican can reach. ... and saying that his head looked like a ball

Robben has admitted to diving. In this case, he should be banned from the rest of the tournament - its cheating.

The problem is with this great gamne of football. Officials, seem to ignore this.

He only admitted to diving in the first half, not for the penalty

Difference in attitude :

Soccer - players roll around on the floor trying to convince the ref that they are hurt
Rugby - players, with blood streaming down face, trying to convince the ref that they aren't badly hurt and playing with a broken arm is par for the course.

It's not like you to overreact like this Arthur...

If the ref thought he had dived he would've got a yellow card, why should he be banned now because he admitted it. We can't have different rules for different players ;)

I suspect this has more to do with a huge money making transfer and him hoping for a 'sincere' apology to result in his punishment being reduced on appeal than anything else.

A bit like a alcoholic saying that he won't have another drink methinks.
