It's season 2 though, unless you have seen the webisodes it's going to be abit confusing (though from what i hear sci-fi have re-edited so from their view it may be season 1, in which case if you have seen the webisodes you will be in wtf mode)

S2E1&2 is already up on *well* you know where.

So ep1/2 = all 8 webisodes edited and re-aired?

Why is sci-fi showing them as season 2 then?

Guys, Chill. No need to confused. I already checked it and the episode 1 and 2 that aired last night, is a reshot version of the first four webisodes. There is some changes from the webisoded version. It's worth to download too.

I watched the pilot & enjoyed it.

It is quite quirky, but humorous I found, with interesting characters that offer lots of scope for development - in my opinion, of course :)

I'm a bit confused - they're showing it on both sci-fi & ITV4, both started this week. WTF is going on? I watched the 1 on sci-fi, but what's the ITV4 1? [recorded it, but not watched it yet].

edit: I just looked at DigiGuide again, & it wasn't on sci-fi. I think lack of sleep is getting to me, must have got mixed up with someone else mentioning sci-fi.

I remember when they first said they would remake BSG, and changed starbucks sex, I thought no way and boycotted it.

Then on an offchance i picked the miniseries up on budget DVD and went WOW! what have i missed.

S1 was great, S2 was amazing, fell flat a bit in S3, but came back very strong in S4. Can't wait for the last 10 episodes. for once a remake that is worthy of something. I just hope they do the same standard for V.

I find the overly stylized visuals quite off-putting. I thought Snyder's last effort, 300, was a piece of crap, and that the guy shouldn't be directing anything other than music videos. That said, Carla Gugino and Malin Akerman in tight spandex is hard to say no to.

Unlikely, as one is on a pay-TV channel and the other is free to air. BBC3 has a far larger potential audience and is less likely to take a hit from something else being on Sky. I would have said that there is a greater risk to Sky, to be honest. Plus, of course, ratings take account of time-shift viewing, so anyone who records either of these shows (whether by VCR, DVD or PVR) will be counted in the final figure for that show's audience.

Hasn't everyone downloaded the entire series of Lost by now off t'internet?

Anyway tis as Chris says..Both channels are not immediately available to everyone, everywhere so it's not going to be a problem for most as BBC programmes are available either to download on BBC's player or on VOD for those of us who have gone digital with VM.

Personally I hate Lost as it's too damned confusing, even more so since the hiatus..:erm:

That The Fast and The Furious 4 one, does that begin where Tokyo Drift left off or something? Because that first scene in that trailer looks a hell of a lot like the last scene in Tokyo Drift.

Apparently it is set after the second film(2 Fast 2 Furious) and before the third one(Tokyo Drift)

The new one is called Fast and Furious

Caprica (The BSG Prequal) is releasing its two-hour pilot/TV movie on DVD on April 10.

The 22-episode run (on Sci Fi US) is not due to air until 2010.

Great news. Presumably this Sunday's (ep.6) is the last in this series?

cimt 26-02-2009 19:50

Yeah, this series only has 6 episodes.

Maggy 26-02-2009 20:02

Re: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and other Snippets

Very good news..I think this series is excellently written and I'm looking forward to seeing where they all eventually go in with the story.:)

I love the idea also that the BBC is encouraging new and young writers again..I hope they will be trying the same format of getting new writers to write a script with the chance of being made into a full series again in the future..Showcasing new talent this way should be something the BBC does more regularly...
