Good :)

Its debut season may not be as good as that of Arrow or The Flash, but I'm enjoying it.

cimt 02-12-2015 01:27

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

Really they should of tied it into The CW universe. That way they wouldn't of had to reference Superman every 10 minutes. I think that ruins it.

Tezcatlipoca 02-12-2015 19:03

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

I don't mind the Superman references. It all ties into how Kara's stuck in the shadow of her cousin, trying to make her own way as a hero.

I do think it's a huge shame though that it's not part of the Arrowverse like The Flash and the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow.

It would be difficult, if not impossible for any of the characters from Arrow or The Flash to appear in Supergirl as I believe it's made for a different network.

Animal Kingdom stars Barkin as the matriarch of a Southern California family that is prone to indulgence and excess, funded by criminal activities. Scott Speedman (Felicity), Shawn Hatosy (Southland), Ben Robson (Vikings), Jake Weary (Pretty Little Liars), Finn Cole (Peaky Blinders), Daniella Alonso (Revolution) and Molly Gordon co-star.

Five months after getting a pilot script order, Fox’s Prison Break revival has been officially ordered to series — and the cast is starting to be fleshed out.

Both Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell have signed on to reprise their lead roles, as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows, while TVLine hears that talks thus far are underway with both Sarah Wayne Callies (now starring on USA Network’s Colony) and Robert Knepper, to return as Sara and T-Bag.

Miller and Purcell currently co-star on The CW’s Legends of Tomorrow, which the actors said earlier this week will dictate their window of availability for the Prison Break revival, which is tentatively set to start filming this spring. Originally eyed as a 10-episode event series, the exact length is now TBD.

As previously reported, Fox’s Prison Break continuation likely will take place during a period of time preceding the events of the straight-to-DVD epilogue, The Final Break, in which a major character met his demise.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

First time I have been in this thread so apologies if this has already been posted before. For those of you who want to keep track of the new series and see what is renewed and cancelled I suggest you have a look here and click on renewed/cancelled top right. It is an absolutely fantastic calendar, I have been using it for years. It can get really confusing when you use it without any filters and every series is displayed but you can easily setup a filter for just the series you watch and it cleans it up a lot. You don't have to worry about missing any new series which aren't on your filter because they are constantly updated in the "additions" list top right with show summaries and you can then add them to your filter if you like the sound of them.

It is very handy for US series because this time of year they all have 1-2 week gaps between eps as the networks try to spread them out till April for the end of the fall tv season. By using the calendar you can easily see which week stuff like Big Bang is on and when it isn't. Same goes for the xmas breaks for stuff like The Walking Dead, it is finally coming back next Sunday!

I've been using it for years. One of the best calendars I've found for TV shows. I've not tried another one since I found it.

Supergirl has not been renewed as of yet but its looking likely that it get get a 2nd season alongside limitless, code black, rush hour and life in pieces cbs is proud of there pick up this season according to an article i saw from spoilertv.com

Only 2 shows renewed by cbs so far are the big bang theory which got renewed for 3 seasons in summer 2014 and ncis which got renewed for 2 more seasons only last week.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

They'll renew Supergirl because it lets them expand the DC universe and do more crossovers. They haven't got a superman tv series to tie it in with so Supergirl will have to do. When I win the euromillions tonight I'll fund a second season myself because Melissa Benoist is gorgeous.
