At the prices I've seen quoted for the 'top established' Premier clubs, I can't understand how there's a 5 year waiting list . .

:D

i do think the womens football push is starting to slow down. attendances are stagnating. i think it may have hit its limit in terms of viewership too

The standard of football isn't good to be honest so can't expect to attract big crowds.

It's still being pushed by coin eyed people hoping it's a big money spinner though.

Look at that 'international friendly' they just played . . . and the hype surrounding the score

Well guess they have to try and sell it to try and attract people to watch and the advertising revenue

what do we think is going to happen to TNT Sports here? will it be cast away and sold on to claw some money back?

Its owner WBD is likely being sold so I doubt anything will change until well after that. But it is not having the best start to Winter! From your link:

It has been a torrid few weeks for TNT, which as revealed by the Guardian lost its UK rights to the Champions League to Paramount+ last month and was outbid by Sky Sports for the Europa League and Uefa Conference League. TNT is broadcasting the Ashes this winter but its coverage from Australia has been widely criticised.

Getting really p****d off at the moment. Trying to watch Charlton v Boro on Sky+ red button and they keep losing picture and sound. Says on screen playback not possible due to a technical problem

I'm wondering if Sky are having an issue with the red button because it takes an age to give you match choices

No problems here in Middlesbrough - watched on red button via channel 532. Which channel where you using for the red button, and did you try any other channels or red button games?
EDIT - Just checked the Sky Communmity Forums and there are posts from others with the same red button issue tonight

Was watching it on the Sky Sports+ channel (404). I gave up in the end and watched the remainder of the Chelsea match on TNT.

My wife was watching the Notts C v MKD match on Sports+ - it failed late in the 1st half and never came back.
