Jon Secada - Just another Day
Clair Marlo - All for the feeling
John Farnham - You're the voice
Nelly Furtado and James Morrison - Broken strings

Yes, well UP. younger Daughter was a Goth (at about 13). She's now 24. I have to reserve judgement on that, although the video was reminiscient of an episode from Eureka :D

Beethoven's 9th.
BBC2
Not the best version I've ever heard but it'll do :)
Still wonderful.

Same here and agree with your comments, but Barenboim does look knackered.

Wish I'd been there though, 15 years since I last heard Beethoven's 9th live at the Proms. Always a brilliant experience to be there!

Absolutely, I thought the National Youth Choir of GB was excellent.

Been up to The Proms several times in the past, pretty easy journey from here, but even 15 years ago stalls tickets for Beethoven's 9th were £30 each and we took the In-laws up for a birthday treat!

Last Night line-up is:
  • Nicola Benedetti violin
  • Joseph Calleja tenor
  • BBC Symphony Chorus
  • BBC Symphony Orchestra
  • JiřÃ* Bělohlávek conductor
