Real Madrid want 65m€=52m£. PSG cannot pay that. Manchester United and Bayern Munich also interested who could cough up. Lavezzi could be sold to fund the transfer.

No. Having Chelsea and Man City are bad enough.

Sadly Mark l am disappointed with you as one should put their rivalries and prejudices aside and support all our British sides in Europe.

Liverpool I will support. In fact, I would support any English team in Europe apart from Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City. Sorry for going against the grain.

l think it says a lot about some supporters when they cannot put their tribal hatreds to one side and support our British clubs in Europe.

Deep down I think most of us enjoy seeing the others flop. I'm not ashamed to admit that. For me, the days of cheering on all the British teams in Europe ended when the Premier League started.

Sorry Mr P but when Man Utd and Chelsea won the CL l was extremely pleased that they won it and if any other English side won it l will be just as pleased.

I understand that, but it would take a few years of every team not getting out of the group stage for that to change. And let's be honest, most of us have enjoyed a laugh or two at others failure without it doing any damage to our coefficient rating.

wasnt the EPL in danger of dropping places had recent triumphs for English teams not occurred ?
