Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
Peter you seem to be avoiding the fact that he was talking about the 50 > 120 upgrade, i expected more of you, can you not even admit your post was misleading? :erm:
I will post the part of his link that we're all talking about which you can find at the bottom of his register link. Quote:

I think we are looking at it from two different viewpoints hence the confusion, that article in the post is dated 16/1/2012 but nothing was posted after it by the register but people posted about it on here and the community forum. 50Mb will go first to 100Mb and eventually up to 120Mb but as for a timescale no one knows as yet. |
Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
Thankyou, now in your original post replying to him if you had put this reply we wouldn't be having this conversation. :)

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
The OP has been edited with good info but can it not include the doubling link so those wanting to check can do easily without going through pages?

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
my connection dropped for an hour this morning and when it come back online the modem had 8 downstream channels locked on. still there's only one upstream channel so I guess we will go down again for that at some point. I expect they may even beat the march - april estimate that they say for my area.
My internet seems a little faster with the extra downstreams now which is nice! |
