I also ordered online and have not had an email. I think I have picked add tivo not replace my v+ so I called and was told it will take upto 24 hours for the order to go though from the online dept as the lady could not find my order even after I gave her my order number

How are you able to order Tivo online without an email?

No it has a external power source the same as the V-HD so there is no noise from the box ( although i stand to be corrected )

There are a lot ordering without receiving the email. It is discussed on other forums and the 0800 number is freely available there too.

I'm not going to post it here or link as, correct me if i'm wrong, the details aren't supposed to be generally available.

A little googling may find it though.

Sorry I had the email about the offer but not back from virgin about my order it takes up tp 24 hours for the online team to get back

YES! This is great news for me. The tiny fan in the V+ sammy is only thing that annoys me about it. Even in standby it comes on for long periods.

Looking forward to getting TIVO even more now!

any current TIVO users out there who can confirm the noise levels from the box while on vs in standby?

Yes it has the little power pack at the back that is in-between the plug ant the box.

Ok "found" the 0800 num.
TIVO being installed on Monday 18th April between 1-6pm!!!!!
Keeping the V+ box for the bedroom.
50MB, XL TV, XL PHONE.
Monthly bill Â£76.55.:):):):):):)

And................................RELAX!

Just booked mine for 23rd April. When they call will explain to them i want to keep the V+ box and move it into second room and they can have the V Box back....

I've had the e-mail but now think that the 500gb Tivo would suffice my needs, would there be another e-mail to remind us that it's being released or is it just a free for all on the 16th of May?
