It's been speculated on for a while, but confirmed the other day - that Game of Throne Season 8 (due in 2018) will only consist of 6 episodes.

The BBC is apparently making a new War of the Worlds TV series, based in Victorian times.

If done right it could be good. The BBC are usually really good at period set shows. As long as it has a decent budget for the effects.

as the original book was set in that period it should hopefully work.

Supernatural is doing a fully animated Scooby-Doo episode next season (S13).
