Answer is NO just because of the way you look should not matter, it is the person you are that matters. So this is a happy thought whether you watch this truly remarkable lady speaking or reading her book, believe me her words of wisdom will stay with you. My thoughts after reading her book and watching her video were OMG what a truly remarkable Lady. Her parents must be so proud.

It will be worth it I promise you that you will take something from this book that will stick with you. It was Lizzie's determination to hold her head high and show the world that we should focus on inner beauty and that she would not change a thing despite once being a little girl with tears in her eyes who just wanted to fit in with her peers and be liked. Really moving true story...of pure determination.

Watching the Gadget Show and it was talking about Backing up data.

It said that Windows 8.1 has one called File History, I checked and found out that it had put it on my NAS drive in a DVD folder I created (Why not ask me where to put it?)

So I created a Backup folder and told FH to save here, it asked me did I want to move the contents from the DVD folder to the new folder, I said yes and it started to move 48GBs of data I freaked when it said about 23 hours, but was well jell when it only took about 3 hours.

So now of to change the laptop sleep setting back to normal.

An allegation was made about me recently which was untrue. I had never been in that sort of situation before and even though I knew I had nothing to worry about the whole process was very unnerving (perhaps it's designed that way?) and would potentially entail protracted uncertainty but last night I had a fantastic phone call to confirm that it was going nowhere and I could happily go about my business :)

I bet it was someone full of jealously Russ, really you need to pity them in a way as they are just plain nasty to have made an untrue allegation really not a nice person. People like that make me  the unnecessary worry they have caused you ... as you say the whole process was very unnerving.

God news indeed Russ. Knowing you have done nothing wrong does not always squash those niggling doubts that you wont be believed. Only been in that position once in my whole life thankfully but I can still remember the sleepless nights it caused until the situation was resolved. :tu:

Well he called the hospital and because my heart rate was only 150 ( I know still high) they said if I wanted to go hospital today then I would have to go to A&E. The doc said he would get me an appointment asap and put me on aspirin for now told me not to train unless I know they are clear

I know how you feel. I woke up one morning with a heart rate of 144, seen the GP and he sent me to the hospital (by ambulance). Mine could be kidney related but they are keeping an eye on things. My avg is still around 100bpm at rest.

did you mean to quote me then lol

My normal resting is around 70 I am quite fit for my size so having it beat @ 150+ at rest is quite high by comparison. Thankfully he said I can still train as long as its not while I have them present or just after

It is really stressful, what I found hard was the home showings and trying to keep my home looking great and visitor ready just incase walk through buyers dropped by, I for one would never do that again and if I did ever sell again it would be by appointment only, at least that way you know they are serious buyers and not time waster's and the big plus by doing this is you are prepared for the visit. Who bought my house did two visits so that is a good sign if they ask for another visit. Fingers crossed you sell soon Tinky :)

Went to see Grease last night performed by the local young drama students really good show and hopefully they raised a good amount for their drama club the tickets were only £10.00 and a donation for the schedule and may I say the show was 1st class. Well done to all who performed and organized the event it really was a breath of fresh air, these young ones doing something they loved as many of the youth of today seem to do nothing with their lives so well done to all involved. :)

Have you ever clayed it?
I'll be doing mine again the weekend.

No, it's not a Rover :)

Re: The Happy Thought Thread Part 4

Claying isn't abrasive. you just wash the car, go over it with clay and plenty of lubricant. it leaves the paintwork with a mirror like finish.

then you polish and wax it.

Glad you got it over and done with. I had my MRI yesterday and I'm still getting over it now - 40 minutes headlocked in a tight tunnel with severe claustrophobia isn't easy for me to get over . This time round the diazepam didn't really help enough, I was a wreck as soon as they put the head cage on. Personally I can't think of anything worse than them, even though that was my 5th. All week I've been quiet and stressed out to the max just thinking about it, so glad it's over and done with.

Good luck with your results too.

Glad your date with the MRI scanner is over peanut. I don't like having them so having to have one when you are claustrophobic sounds like a nightmare situation. Hopefully your stress levels will now return to normal.

Sounds awful Peanut and the stress would not have done your illness any good :(, hope you get good news when the results come through. :hugs:

Thanks for your replies. :)

To be honest it was the 5th attempt. As 3 now have been successful (drugged up), and 2 had to be abandoned as I freaked out, that's how much I hate them.

I was around that way earlier. coming off the M5. never seen one single Rover at the time.

you usually see a whole load of you driving slowly. so as not to disturb the rust and filler too much :)

Bit of a bitter-sweet one, glad and happy for my mates at the running club who are doing the London Marathon today. Gutted that I'm not one of them but I'll be applying again next year and hoping I get chosen. THIS is the medal I want.
