Nice one Alex.
My wife asks if she makes a few cucumber/tomato sandwiches, if the protesting group would also like some :) |

And thanks for the feedback on the podcast, I turned twitlive off just before they called to make sure there were no bandwidth issues so I didn't get a chance to see what people were saying in the chat room. Alexander Hanff |

Great podcast Alex, and the recognition, as well as the compliments they paid at the end was awesome. |

OK, I'll have a small selection anyway, Cucumber, Red Leicester and Tomato, Ham and Tomato(no salmon in the fridge, sorry). I'm bringing a cooler bag to chuck some water etc also as it will be a hot day.
Placard made today :), should be fun. I'll hopefully arrive just before 10. |

My placards are a bit posh. A3 full colour laminated placards screwed onto 4 foot lengths of dowel hehe. I wanted to make sure they were weather proof but also that they were not too heavy, so hopefully if people are bringing their kids they will be able to have a bit a fun and get involved as well. You can bet if kids are there they will want to hold a placard, I know my son would.
Because of the emergency flier situation I found myself in today I had to get the fliers printed on A4 as opposed to A5 so now I am in the process of hand guilotining about 1300-1400 fliers, it's gonna take a little while. Alexander Hanff |

I am still waiting for VM to renounce Phorm and ask for my forgiveness.
Seriously, I really wonder if they have any idea of the outrage that will hit them if they suddenly came out of the closet and went actively pro-phorm again. I suspect the backlash would be a hell of a lot worse than is currently targeted towards BT. As education grows about who is, what is, and why Phorm / Webwise exists, the backlash would surely be a lot bigger than it was originally before VM went quiet on the issue. While Virgin Media are having this honeymoon period, possibly sitting on the fence, many cable customers, myself included, are secretly hoping VM will see sense and suddenly announce that Phorm has gone away. Imagine if suddenly after this relatively 'quiet' period VM suddenly came off the fence and went pro-Phorm again. I think many customers would go ballistic. They would feel cheated, hurt and very angry. While many of us cable customers have been following the BT tests and the current issues, we have been learning. Learning what to do. learning about DPA notices, learning how to get Freedom of Information requests and many, many other things. So if VM think for one second that the BT storm would act as some form of cushion if somehow (can't see it myself) BT could pull through this one, I will suggest now that they should think seriously about it again. Phorm / Webwise and DPI of this nature will never be considered acceptable on our VM cable network. |

Ok
In my view. its been too long since some info regarding Virgin Media has been posted. Personally I am going to start writing emails again, and put some questions back to Virgin - to see if they will at least make some sort of Public acknowledgement/Denial in regards of Phorm. I feel that the more of us do this, the better as we may get something form them. |
