How much would they be worth? £1?

I mentioned this in the "other place" that it appears to be a strange deal and doesn't seem to fit with their other sports offerings. And their current price offering rules me out - not that I'm that bothered as my team won't be back in the National League anytime soon!

DAZN UK doesn't seem to serve anyone's needs - the shareholders, the banks, the viewers and even the sports themselves. And once Amazon Prime ends its UK sports broadcasting, it's probably only fourth in the list of UK paid sports broadcasters and behind Premier Sports.

The one thing it has got is boxing, albeit the top fights are now PPV. They currently have the Eddie Hearn promoted fights, with stories that they will also gain the Frank Warren fights at some point next year.

Premier Sports was formed in 2009 by the Irish businessman Michael O'Rourke, a joint CEO and part owner of Setanta Sports and former director of Premium Sports.

The National League press release indicated it take a few months before the National League service is absorbed into DAZN.
