You can spend and spend but that does not guarantee success everytime as some clubs panic buy.

Or it shows United don't sell their best players. When the core of your team either retires or leaves for free towards the end of their careers (Giggs, Scholes, Vidic, Evra, Ferdinand...) the net spend is going to be high because those players need to be replaced.

yes, Utd never spend money unless they need players, so different to the other clubs :D

l remember MU and SAF preaching about other clubs spending a lot of money but that's a bit like calling the kettle black as they are no different.
