I use YouTube on TiVo to watch music videos these days. You'll find pretty much everything on there. Much, much better than Virgins music on demand, and plenty of HD music videos too!

Yes i also use TiVo you tube to watch music videos and your 100% right mate.

And plenty of Metal Heaven.:)

Mind you i always feel Metal despite being popular has always been fairly unrepresented on Music on Demand.

Got to agree with you. Even Kerrang in recent years has become diluted with generic American new metal. Seems there is a production line of bands that keep getting churned out all with the same sound, same look and same fan base.

Well, I'm not so impressed with U-Tube on TIVO. All the Goldfrapp videos, for example, are 'not available'.

Unfortunately that's the case on all TV versions of YouTube. It's the same on my TV and Blu-ray player. YouTube allow videos to be made unavailable on certain platforms.

In addition to this, it's mostly down to the record company's choice. I uploaded a video once with a popular song and YouTube automatically detected it. As the company that manages that song has stated it can't be seen on mobile devices, I cannot watch my own video on my phone.

That explains it then. I'm always disappointed with the with the choice on the TiVo version of YouTube which returns far fewer search results than for the same search on my PC.

Box TV to rebrand Q as heat on Virgin Channel 338 next month.

Overnights.tv is reporting that Box TV are to close Q on July 3rd at 6am on Virgin Channel 338 to make way for heat to launch.

Some music is terrible to get on-line, for instance when hmv had it's unlimited streaming service, some albums had tracks on that you couldn't stream because the track had been written by another person / artist and the publishing was owned by another company who wouldn't agree for it be streamed, downloaded or whatever, you don't always realise how much negotiating and legal mine fields something as seemingly easy as listening / watching on-line can take.. as a buisness owner i would love to know how much U-tube pays prs and ppl???

Also will BTs new channel be called "BT Sport"?

Will VM keep ESPN even after they lost EPL rights?

Disney wholy own this channel via its ownership of UTV Software Communications of India (who own UMP Movies)

I hope "BT Sport" come in HD can both HD and SD versions come to VM!

Maybe Disney will sell ESPN UK to BT and they change its name to "BT Sport" and "BT Sport HD"

No news on Virgin being in talks.

No news yet on name of the BT new Sports Channel. But BT want ''BT Sport'' on other networks.

ESPN is likely to be axe from the XL Package and become an Add on Channel plus we may see the launch of ESPN America HD on Virgin Media from Summer 2013.

I can confirm they will have 24 SD and 25 HD Channels they can reuse after August 11th 2012.

No news in months.
