I bet it was, It's by far my most eagerly anticipated feature!! :D

Are you able to give anymore details of the TiVo's implementation of Multi Room Streaming?

True, but it wasn't officially released so that any current customer could have it until April, when all 3 tuners were available.

It worked for everyone for a few hours a few weeks ago and it seemed to work perfectly. You just went to the other box, which is listed in your planned recordings, pressed OK and up came a list of recordings on the other box and you just played them as normal.

Refer back to post #1151 for the point I was making. ;)

If you get something pre-release, then it is possible that it may have some features not quite right; you should accept that when you agree to have it in a pre official release state.

I got one of the first officially released ones which had 3 recordable tuners and no problems, so I don't see your point.

Did the pre-release ones have just 2 tuners or 3 but only 2 recorded?

They've got all three tuners, and one was activated by an update sometime after release.

I agree, Btw, whether or not people would moan about deficiencies in an early release, this has still taken far too long. Frankly, Virgin should be embarrassed.

After announcing that the XBox SmartGlass app wouldn't be available for Android devices until 2013, Microsoft released it last night! And its bloody nice too!

If only VM would surprise us like that.

Indeed it would be nice if it just arrived on time but VM are not exactly practised in the art of that it seems.

To be totally honest, l don't think VM give a damn about what customer feel or think about there services.

I recently spoke with there customer services and told them about the problem that myself and my mother in law were having on our TiVo boxes, and they changed both boxes and we lost everything that we had recorded.

And they did not seem to care about it either. I suppose the big thing about Sky is that there technology is far better than VM - sad to say.

I may criticise VM a lot over the products, but l have found that they are not interested in the customer. My honest opinion is that they should get out of the TV side and just concentrate on BB and the phone.

I bet Sir Richard Branson must be kicking himself that his famous 'Virgin' brand is being slagged off so much - only due to the fact it is being run by incompetent directors who play golf everyday. And before members say go back to Sky, well l would today if my wife would allow it.

As a matter of interest, Arthur, what is it that your wife likes so much about VM?

Arthur, why do you have to be so disrespectful to people you know nothing about. Have you ever seen pictures of Neil Berkett playing golf? No, because he doesn't play the game.

Exactly the same as would happen if a Sky box was swapped. Except VM will never charge you for it.

Maybe Arthur is thinking of someone else? :)

TIVO are updating their retail boxes with the new HD screens just days after announcing the update, wow thats fast! Along with the HD screens it also gives customers the ability to name their machine, that could be really useful when Virgin turn on the streaming ability instead of the current random letters and numbers
