I've enjoyed the description of imminent, I myself thought it meant "very soon" but it seems it can also mean "very soon, but not that soon", I also notice mediaboy has the autumn penned in now for HD channels, back in January it said HD channels arriving for June, Hmmmmm too much speculation and yes when they do arrive will we then be bitching because they're not the HD channels we wanted.

The good and funny thing about this forum, is that each day gets funnier than the last one, but the biggest laugh l keep on having, is that l will wake up one morning and find that VM have added the HD channels, about ten of them, and they will all be +1 channels, which are a waste of time, and that Harry Rednappe has signed Ronaldo from Man Utd, but there again we can all dream.

Not much appears to have been added, just the bit about the HD channels coming soon.

+ 1 Channels are useful if you wish to want to schedule to watch your favourite shows in an session and dont wish to record/purchase a V+ box. The only problem I have is that they don't have the right +1 channels namely Sci-Fi or FX :(

With baited breath I pressed the link on Media Boys post, are we at last going to get a date for the ever elusive HD channels?
Or even better a list and a date!!!

But no...it was neither, surprise surprise an announcement will be "coming soon".

You couldn't make it up!!!

If they are actually HD channels it doesn't matter whether they are "+1" or not - as usual Arthur shoots himself in the foot....

- now he doesn't want HD channels if they are "+1" - go figure ;)

Apart from the announcement regarding linear HD channels, what could the "nice surprise" be??

A lot of people don't want HD channels if they are "+1"....except for me I want them so I can use them as an excuse to phone Virgin to have a whinge and try to get out of my contract :D

I doubt it as new custoemr are for agm and that would not be a surpise for customer liek they care.

I say the surpise will be either something to do with network exp[ansion ie more of it

or the suropise will be a launch fo more then 5 or 6 hd channel maybe 10 (dop not say virign have said this it is only a guess form me)

another surpise could eb they have secure the rights to channel 4 bakc catalougeu which goe son line in july

another one could be they will be launchign in additon ot hd channels 20 new channels or will be completely the lineup to be the same in exntl and extelwest
