The 30 or 40 runs they could and should have scored when they declared will cost them this match.

Stokes has made some very costly decisions in this test.

Test cricket needs more support and closely won matches with lots of excitement give that. One team dominating (winning the game in fewer than 5 days), slow slogs and draws just push more people to short formats.
Still it is only a game and you can't win them all. Mistakes get made and hopefully learnt from.

Tell it to the Aussies they are more interested in boring winning. So old fashioned....

Entertaining losing is the name of the name of the game these days, they'll catch up eventually...

The questionable decisions in the 1st test have cost us the Ashes.

England have gone from brilliant to brainless in six overs. Only a no ball saved them from being in deep s**t.

Too many weak links in our squad allied with inflexibility in our overall tactical plans.

Missed this afternoon, sunning myself on a remote Welsh beach with no reception. The Aussies want to win, we just want to be nice. Stuff the Ashes, think I prefer nice. They never get them anyway, they stay safely locked away at Lords. :)
