Do still think virgin will move the channel around and have place holders and at a later date launch the channels?

I have seen no confirmed info on what may happen.

All3Media

I wonder if this could come to VM? Apparently it is on Samsung TVs and will be on tablets soon. It is managed by Easel TV who have done a lot of work with VM too.
"All3Media is launching UK and US direct-to-consumer connected TV apps that will allow viewers to rent shows including The Only Way Is Essex and Peep Show."

You used to be such an optimistic fellow, denphone. Has Dave42 finally corrupted you?;)

It is true that Sky has the rights to the back catalogue of HBO shows, but my point is that it is only the first run stuff that is exclusive to Sky.

I'm not saying anything is going to happen. I am merely pointing out what has been reported, and I must say that I would be surprised if Liberty Global had not already worked out an alternative means of getting HBO shows to us.

Belated, maybe, but better late than never.

No it owns most of the UK rights to the HBO back catalogue which is nothing to do with first run , its pretty simple to understand.

That seems to contradict what Sky themselves have said. Do you have a link to any information that confirms your statement, MM?

There's a difference between 'rights' and 'exclusive rights'.

Any chance of London Live channel coming to Virgin? Watched it down at my mums today and looks a fairly decent channel.

London Live is on Virgin - in London. As it and the others are designed to be local channels only they won't be available outside of their areas

Oh dear god. PLEASE don't start that again!

If you're stating something, provide provenance. It's not up to others to find a link to prove you wrong.:confused:
