"Satellite customers who take BT broadband will get BT Sport for free, whilst those who don’t can still get the service from BT in high definition for £15 per month or in standard definition for £12. BT will make it clear to those customers they can save substantial sums by switching their broadband back to BT. Satellite customers who sign up before August 1 2013 will see the £3 per month supplement for HD waived for a year." "To encourage people to switch, BT is offering new customers BT Infinity, its flagship superfast fibre product, from just £15 per month or copper broadband from just £10.00" So you don't even need to take infinity to get the channels for free. Very interesting for SKY customers. |

I will need to think about infinity...as I was anyway |

Come August I've only got 5 months left on my SKY broadband contract. As I'm only paying £3.75 per month I'd be more than happy to cancel early paying the remaining £18.75 up front. What speeds can you get from BT copper broadband? Will they be similar to the speeds I get now from SKY's broadband? If so I could actually save money from this deal. I pay £10.00 for ESPN currently plus £3.75 for my broadband. |
Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
So it's £15 plus roughly £15 line rental. Plus Sky World = £95 ish.
Plus if Sky do their half-price deals as expected to compete, then it could be a very cheap year costing £62! That's like a saving of over £600 from what we pay / year on VIP atm ---------- Post added at 12:35 ---------- Previous post was at 12:31 ---------- A caveat, those £10 and £15 BB packages are limited. Infinity limited to 40gb. The unlimited one costs £26. But it's half price for 6 months, and you can get unlimited upto16mb for £16. |

Re: ESPN, BT, Euro, Premier and Sky Sports news
ah yes, free for 6 months I mean't correct.
Unless your life depends on Virgins broadband, and if you watch football, then there's no logical reason not to take up the offer. Essentially, they're offering BT Sport for the cost of your BB. |
