Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
I think VM are trying to get us not quit by saying july onwards. It seems to be july onwards for nearly everyone, wish they would just be honest and give us a 2 month window. Do that for the first 9 months of upgrades and say "no eta" for the ones that don't have a date yet.

I dont know what to think of this, it could mean my area is going to get some investment as is early in the rollout, or it could mean they just going to switch it on with no new capacity and things are about to get a lot worse. |

Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
I've actually just had a similar 'upgrade' in connection quality. IP address changed (back to one I had months ago).

Will wait and see if one comes here before the speed doubling. Incidently I will go back to the vmng300 like you are on if my area gets upgraded as I am noticing the extra jitter again on the shub (wuth my tbb graph not looking completely terrible), although it still overall better than the vmng300 at the moment due to the vmng's US channel been totally overloaded. |
Re: Virgin Media to Double Broadband Speed
Apparently some people with 50mb will be getting 120mb according to http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/01...a_email_error/
Also I am on VIP 50, will I see any change in pricing? |
