The Magicians is good fantasy, and I enjoy it - but its very dark, not exactly light entertainment.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

Entertainment Light/Dark or in the middle is entertainment. Only those who want to be entertained by the content would continue to watch it.

This is why I replied earlier that there is a difference between SciFi and SciFan, they are 2 entirely different things and should not be confused as some people do.

Added to that you just have a Fantasy genre as well.

Magicians I would put in the Fantasy genre personally thereby being good escapism.

There's nothing wrong with that either, I love escaping into the world of the Magicians, The Librarians or Terry Pratchett etc.

We all need relaxation now and again.

The Series creator Dean Devlin broke the news tonight, saying he has started to shop around other networks.

However, based on the past experience of other shows, that rarely comes to anything. :(

Gutted. It was a great fun show.

Legends of Tomorrow has been renewed for Season 4 by CW.

According to reports, it will again see Matt Ryan reprise his role as Constantine.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

Every report I've seen says Matt Ryan will become a series regular IF LOTM is renewed.

As 1 hour ago.

Another report of Constantine being full time.

Good news imo. Wonder if we'll get Rip back or if he'll stay recurring.

The CW has not as yet announced any renewals/cancellations.
LOT is expected to be renewed though.

If you want to believe otherwise, thats up to you.
But dont start being argumentative in this thread.

Re: Renewals & Cancellations

I'm sorry Paul I wasn't intending to come across as argumentative. If as you say TheCW has renewed it then just post the link.

The information I have to date is that TheCW have not as yet made any renewal/cancellation announcements.

I'm more than willing to be wrong and will apologise most profusely when you post the link.

It may not be officially confirmed but it makes sense. You can't promote somebody to a series regular if there isn't going to be another season.
