If it works as well for the football as it seems to do for cricket/tennis then people will not be disappointed thats for sure come august, and before that the rugby.

Whether your anti Sky , Pro Sky or whatever you can't argue with their sports offerings.

No totally agree with that muppetman11,all i was disappointed with in the past is missing some of what i wnated to watch on Red Button, apart form that the sports/movie offerings is where skys big subscriber base is i guess, plenty of people i know say if it were not for the sport they would not sub.

I have found the following on that link using ''Live on Sky''

May:
Sat 21 - Waratahs v Lions (press red button or view online) 10.30am - Super Rugby
Sat 21 - IRB Sevens - London, Day One (continues on red button from 1.30pm) 10.30am - IRB Sevens
Sun 22 - IRB Sevens - London, Day Two (continues on red button from 3.00pm) 10.30am - IRB Sevens
Sun 29 - IRB Sevens - Murrayfield, Day Two (continues on red button from 2.00pm)

Indeed but none of those games are Super League matches. Super Rugby is an entirely different competition and code, it is Rugby Union.

There is no red button coverage of Super League as far as I am aware.

Sky have not confirmed this as far as I know but they have said one of the games will be on red button. Merely because they will be top before the final match kicks off I would guess Rangers will be on Sky Sports 4, then again Rangers could be crowned champions tonight anyway so it may not be a major issue.

Sky have not confirmed this as far as I know but they have said one of the games will definitely be on red button.

indeed. Union is what I am after.

And I would bet that the VMedia press release has super league as a typo. They mean super15 rugby.

I think.
