Hope they do, if I was the FA I'd check the ref at Tottenham to see if he got any money from Arsenal at all. 2 blatant penalties rejected.

I think that Mariner was a disgrace to his profession. We had two blatant penalties, and the booking on Bale was sick. The linesman should have seen that he was being pulled down by the Sunderland player.
Am l a bitter fan, yes, it appears Arsenal have not worn any silverware for years and yet the board always stand by whinger Wenger. I can now see Walcott going - but l can assure you that Levy, will NOT sell him. He will offer Bale a whopiing £170.000 per week to stay - and l think he will accept it. Bale is a home grown boy and will not want to leave Tottenham. |

 beating your rivals to it is sweet. especially when your wounded, down on points and make yet another come back :2up:
|
Re: Football Season 2012/2013
Yes, its sweet to beat your rivals, but at the end of the day they finished 4th. They've done well towards the end of the season and the teams above them are expected to be above them, so they have a right to be happy, but its still 4th, they celebrated as if they won a major competition. I don't think the United players celebrated as much when they won the league.

We all want more than forth at the start of the season but there you go. This summer needs to see investment to ensure we're not here again and we have an advantage in that we have no big player to leave as we did the last two years. Also when we say trophy all that really matters for a top club in the CL or the Premiership. I would rather be in the Champions League than win the FA Cup (as much as I do want to win the FA Cup). |
Re: Football Season 2012/2013

I'm not saying its no achievement for Arsenal to come 4th, it is. I dunno, i just think if i was an Arsenal fan i would be embarrassed in the way my club celebrated coming 4th the way they did. Look at the picture of them in the dressing room, the only thing missing is a trophy from the look of those celebrations, but of course there isn't one and there hasn't been for a while. For Arsenal 4th should be the minimum expectation in my opinion. ---------- Post added at 20:58 ---------- Previous post was at 20:50 ---------- Quote:

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
AST (Arsenal Supporter Trust) meeting happening right now. I said theres 100m and its been confirmed Arsenal can spend that much, be bold! Its up to Arsene but equally he needs someone at board level to tell him to bloody sign players! I really do miss David Dein. 'Apparently' the Mata deal fell through because Arsene was peeing about, nothing to do with '1 in 1 out'. The Sahin deal feel through because Wenger had doubts of his pace.
Bottom line. Arsenal now have money to spend. No excuses. Since 2007 Arsenal have banked over 100 million. New renewals cover costs to really kick on. ---------- Post added at 21:06 ---------- Previous post was at 20:09 ---------- BBC1 right now. Hillsborough |
