If you children are happy, it is a blessing,

Gosh. Last time I went to Herne Bay was when we visited my great aunt Fred* and I was just a nipper. Glad you had a good time Osem.

*Called "Fred" by my uncle Robert (Yes, Bob's my uncle) because she said she never wanted to be called gran or granny so he said we'll just have to call you Fred and it stuck. Funnily she was also happy with it. :)

Totally agree Jo

It's changed quite a bit over the years and quite a lot of money has been spent on the front. It's nice and clean and there's probably not enough excitement to attract the rowdier element. The other big bonus is that the average age down there makes me feel younger... :D

Well, that's a great week over with. Thank the Lord, not getting bullied now until Sunday.

Osem Jnr. had his first day in his placement school today and thankfully it went very well. Luckily it's not too far from where we live and he met a few people he already knows as a result of his other educational experience and various sporting activities.

That should make his transition a bit easier, knowing a few people already. Hope it goes well for him.

l saw my community cardiac nurse yesterday Osem and she is happy with the healing of the ICD wound but thinks my heart rate is beating too fast so she is going to have a conversation with the consultant about increasing the cardiac medication doses although because my blood pressure is quite low she is wary of increasing the doses because it might make my blood pressure even lower which can be very dangerous if it goes too low.

Today's shift was the first one for weeks that I actually enjoyed. It's a shame that it is with a manager who runs jobs that involves lots of travelling and staying away from home. But the time flew by today, which I think it should if you have a decent manager to work for.
