Yes its a very sad song and certain songs remind me of certain bereavements in the family or of close friends and l am also very sorry to hear about your friend Caff.

I listen with a smile - I'd never seen Elton John live before and it was a great start to a great set.
It was just a coincidence that I was listening to it when I got the news through :)
Apparently he wrote it when thinking "What would i like to have played at my funeral?"
