No UK TV or radio broadcast deal has been agreed to show England's white-ball tour of Bangladesh which starts in less than a month's time.

It would appear that potential broadcasters are delaying their run in a bid to secure a cut-price deal with a growing belief in the industry that sports rights – not least bilateral international cricket – are overpriced.

Jos Buttler's side will play three One Day Internationals and Twenty20 internationals at the start of March with a weakened side due to overlapping Test commitments and a number of players, including Alex Hales, opting to play in the Pakistan Super League instead.

Fans in the UK will not be able to watch the tour unless a last-minute deal is struck. Despite lukewarm interest until the last few days, there is growing confidence that a deal will happen on both platforms with Sky Sports and talkSPORT seen to be favourites to secure the TV and radio rights respectively at a relatively cheap price.

Seems to be the way now for tv rights, everybody waiting for the last minute for someone to blink....

Too many tours, too much T20 crap. The money men have ruined cricket , the market is saturated and over priced. Even our best players are turning these tours down now as they can earn more elsewhere. Can't blame the tv companies for looking the other way too.

Not strictly English cricket but it looks like a heavily doctored wicket in India. Australia 177 AO on day one with spinners taking eight wickets.

Let's face it, every home test playing nation doctors the pitch to some extent to suit themselves. Lords is the only ground that refuses in England as they see themselves above that sort of thing..... ( pompous MCC farts!) Makes winning away all the greater achievement

Looks like Sky have got the Bangladesh tour, but only because the ECB are paying them to broadcast it. The ECB will also stream it for free on their website. Desperate times trying to get tv companies to broadcast all this cricket...

Mind you I don't know why they won't pay, when Test matches end up going down to 1 run.....

Threw it away, bad decision to enforce the follow on with our older bowling attack and Roots shocking run out of Brooks.

The ECB coverage of Bangladesh / England is much better than Sky. No adverts and free ! :)

Good to see that lot on the wrong side of the Pennines are keeping up an outstanding level of consistency.:p:

Won: 1
Drawn: 9
Lost: 8
Abandoned: 1

Since beating Gloucestershire in their opening game of the 2022 County Championship, Yorkshire have gone 18 games without a red-ball win 😳

l cannot say that surprises me given the ongoing turmoil at the club but best to make the most of it as sport has a habit of coming back and hitting us on the chin.

Enjoying my second T20 in 3 days at Old Trafford. Lancs thrashed Leicestershire on Thursday and are giving Notts a few problems Lancs posted 208-4 then clean bowled Hales second ball for a duck . Notts currently 8-2 in 3rd over. Oh Lanky Lanky.

A big mistake to throw Buttler back in, he has only played 4 or 5 games for Lancashire in last couple of years and was out of form in the IPL. Still it was generous of us to let you win one at home for the first time in a few years.😊

Nice for Yorkshire to get one over their rivals for once.:)

England v Ireland has been competitive. A bit like Man City v Rochdale...
