Looks like a pile of fascistic crap to me. So it wouldn't surprise in the slightest if it became policy. Most fascistic crap becomes policy if it has the potential to undermine the public sector.

Perhaps a better approach would be to query why they are leaving and perhaps fix those issues instead, rather than essentially imprisoning people in the country until they pay a ransom.

If we were prevented from taking in other countries' doctors and nurses it would perhaps cause the government to look at why we can't retain our own and how they have made the occupations so unattractive that we don't have enough entering them.

Two German transgender women claiming 3 North African men attempted to stone them. The men themselves claim that the transgender women and people like them deserve to be stoned. Looks like it's going to be treated as attempted murder.

Ah these wonderful, tolerant attitudes that Mrs Merkel saw fit to import en masse in a ridiculously naive attempt to fix Germany's demographic problems.

Yes, it makes you wonder why some folks will happily seek freedom and a better life elsewhere and not only choose to remain largely separate from their host society but in some cases actively seek to destroy it.

The world is full of conflict, all too often ancient, between peoples of different faiths, cultures or whatever yet the Eurocrats would apparently have us believe that all that can be overlooked and huge numbers of people from numerous countries can be successfully assimilated into the EU in the relative blink of an eye. It wouldn't be so troublesome if they were all tolerant people willing to adapt to western society but they're clearly not. A very significant proportion, I would argue, want to bring their traditions, cultural/religious practices, rivalries etc. to the EU whilst rejecting many of ours and relying on our way of life to support them.

Even where the numbers are small and the timescale extended it's proved extremely difficult to create the conditions in which people will fully integrate. How much greater the problems when the numbers are vast and entirely ill judged invitations create a sudden deluge which swamps the ability of nations to cope and provide even the most basic of services to those who've risked their lives to accept their welcome? Just how much dangerous resentment is going to build within those who've suffered greatly (even lost family members) on their way to Merkel's Utopia when they find they're not as welcome as they thought and are being played 'migrant ping pong' with as politicians use them to score points? Sooner or later we're all going to reap what's been sown and I'm afraid it won't be pretty.

Meantime back in Eurolalaland, there's a new focus on what to do and according to BBC Radio 4, the big idea now is to scrap the Dublin regulation and allow migrants to claim asylum in any EU country rather than the first they enter. Well I suppose that's what's already been happening effectively so n real change there eh...

The migrants are also duplicitous, she said, often turning up with a number of false documents.
But the biggest problem by far, she says, is the migrants’ attitude towards women, which is so extreme that she has begun to modify her own behaviour in order not to draw unwanted attention.

“They simply do not respect women at all. They don’t take us seriously. If I as a woman tell them something or want to take a statement from them, they hardly listen to me at all, or they simply refuse and demand to speak to a male colleague.”

Instead they give her and her female colleagues “contemptuous glances”, or are sexually provocative: one will whistling and make comments in their native language while the others look on and laugh.

“It is really very unpleasant,” she says. “They even photograph us with their smartphones, just like that, without asking, even if you protest against it.”

Attitudes seem to be hardening and if the above is anywhere near representative of a significant problem then it won't be long before big trouble ensues. A tinderbox is in the making.
