Cable Forum - The Xbox One Thread

Free Xbox One. My parents bought it for Xmas and they're bringing it round next week. They've said it's a D1 Edition w/ Forza

Likely just going to leave it in the box until UFC by EA. (Huge UFC fan)
Could play Forza but I'd miss my Forza 4 billion credits :(

Selling it isn't an option as that's rude imo. Plus I'd really like to play EA UFC. Then knowing my luck they'd announce a new Gears game as I flogged it. Why buy/keep a console for one game? I don't know, You're talking to the guy that bought the PS3 for The Getaway 3, look how that turned out. Boxing games tend to be console only so there's another plus.

Just found out that Forza 5 Day One edition is only available via Game. I wonder if Day One will be on Xbox Game Store

I am at Game waiting for the lock in and have been advised by them that they will be selling the DD verisons of games but dont know if they will be cheaper than disk ones

Forza day one is all retailers, I got mine from tesco.

Doesn't quite make up my Forza 3/4 Garage worth over 1bn and my 500,000,000 credits left over :(

Hmmm. Thats what i thought to start off with but Amazon are not promoting this and the reviews i have read on their suggest otherwise. While i was at the lock in other people also said it was Game and MS exclusive.

Anyway just got back from the lock in and i really cant wait to get the console. I played on Forza 5, DR3, Ryse and Fifa 14. I like the control pad, i like the new impulse triggers while playing Forza.

Got a few pics of the console and the games being played. Oh and even got a tweet from Game with me in a pic as well as them retweeting me.

How did the games look in the flesh? Loading times? were they disc or DL copies?
