Are you on a 1 Meg connection through a Set Top Box? If so, that's why. No 1 Meg STB users have been upgraded yet.

After being pointed in this direction by MattD, I can confirm that I'm still on my 600k connection and I live in Renfrew. Hope it's done soon :(

Don't know. All I know is that BBKing says no 1mb users on stb have been upgraded yet.

I used to get that sometimes with rdhw's speed test, i always found that the if the results before was a bit lower and the next higher the difference of the higher to the normal speed always was the extra needed for the lower speed...if you get my drift

Dodgy

SACMs will respond to the upgraded speed with a reboot, the theory on here at the moment is that STBs will not respond to a speed increase until all the STBs in the Area, Country, World (as appropriate) have been changed to Samsung ones.

(This is for the 1Mb service, 150-300 will see little difference on an STB as it was really 256-300, 600>750 should be done if your area says so, but all Pace STBs cannot cope with bandwidth above 1Mb so are being swapped out).
