One day series lost....
The trouble with India is they take cricket too seriously. It was only meant to be a bit of a laugh....

Lancashire had a golden chance in the final given Hampshire's low score but my parents adopted county came through in the end.:)

No wonder South Africa refused to play an extra 4th day in this test match. Only bad light should stop this being a 2 day test.

Really disappointed I missed that.:D

Off to Trent Bridge on Saturday to watch Lancashire v Kent in the Royal London 50 over one day cup final.

Unfortunately at this time of the year it’s nearly always a case of win the toss, bowl first, win the match.

Why not Lords for a final? When did that change ? 50 over cricket is dying...

Re: English Cricket

Given the current situation Lords would have been cancelled anyway. Trent Bridge is a lovely ground and only 2 hours drive for us. There was a reason why it wasn’t at Lords but that escapes me atm.

Re: English Cricket

One thing that really pleases me is that both Lancashire and Kent are sticking with the squads that got them to the final, none of the first choice players who played in the Hundred abomination have been included.

Lancashire stuff previously unbeaten County Champions Surrey by an innings and 130 runs in under 3 days, on the same day that Yorkshire teeter on the brink of relegation

Yep, that dodgy Lancashire scored 512 in their first innings.:p:

Old Trafford is generally accepted as one of the better, if not the best wicket in the country atm.

Re: English Cricket

Amazing, Liam Norwell takes 9 wickets in Hampshires 2nd innings to confirm Lancashire as runners up and relegate Yorkshire to the second division.:D

Unfortunately my free access to Sky Sports is no more :(
However SA v Eng today, and I've found a lovely Pakistani site that streams it, quality just as good if not better than Sky, plus SA commetary which is better than the Sky bores. God bless those Pakistanis, Sky aren't ever going to get my dosh :) Just a shame Archer has forgotten how to bowl ....
