Well, if they couldn't make STV2 work, local TV doesn't stand a chance.

Unless someone who actually knows what they're doing comes along, they may as well give up now. What a joke!

There were localised stations before it rebranded to STV2. I remember it was STV Glasgow where I am. Nothing worth watching on it at all.

Which is why it didn't succeed. A complete lack of imagination by those running the channel, IMO.

Media TV will be took over by Sony (They are part own by Sony right now).
Then Sony will buy That's TV.

Trying to watch the Spain game, is it just me or is there no picture on BBC4HD, BBC4 SD is okay?

BBC 4 HD is OK here.

Try an reboot at half time.

Our box did it last week with Sky Sports Arena.

Well, let’s hope Sony make a better fist of it than That’s TV or STV2 did. At least they have a catalogue of watchable stuff they can draw on instead of Mr K’s films!

We did hear some weeks ago that the owners of London Live was looking to sell to Made TV, That’s TV, CBS and Discovery.

Not really coming soon news as its already happened, but I noticed last night (when flicking) that the picture on Bloomberg looked very good (nice and sharp) like it was HD:). Sky have carried the HD version for a few months now and it seems Virgin do aswell now as this morning the channel logo on the epg has changed to Bloomberg TV HD (still labelled as 'Bloomberg' on Tivo and V6 but as 'Bloomberg HD' on other boxes, maybe due to character limit).

I wonder if this indicates that they might be the latest channel to go HD only and that Virgin have had to take the HD feed to keep carrying the channel.

Actually, I think Virgin may stop taking on SD channels before long.

The problem is that the East Midlands local news (and I suspect other regions too) is not shown on BBC1 HD
