Sorry Den, burnt out from my last one mate. :) But on a more serious note, I wonder if anyone has heard anything more about AMC coming to the platform?

Not very popular according to this

Zombies seem to have scared away audiences from BT’s new drama channel, AMC from BT, which registered zero viewers according to the official audience survey.
.
But how accurate it is when BARB only survey 5000 homes is anyones guess, not accurate at all is my guess and it seems a complete waste of time to put any credence on their figures at all.

According to other sources 211,000 watched the opening ep of Fear the Walking Dead.

I can't remember ever watching AMCUK live, i use BTs catch up tv service to watch AMCUK content, wouldn't be surprised if that's what most are doing.

I don't think it'll ever launch TBH.

These service providers are trying to differentiate themselves from each other, if you had an exclusive channel why would you make it available to your competitors*?

*see Sky Atlantic

Same here. Although, if true that 211,000 watched the first episode of FTWD, I'd be very surprised if they managed 11,000 for the second episode. I was actually hoping that the central cast members would be eaten alive well before the end of the first episode.

Rectify isn't bad - Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Shield etc., seen 'em all before but good for someone who hasn't. Hopefully, things will improve with new shows coming on line.

100% agree with you on this, I can't see them giving up this one in a hurry

They won't.

...but if it's struggling for viewers they might ;)

LFC had to backtrack and return the channel to VM due to appalling viewing figures.

BT see Sky as their main competitor, not VM.

VM really need to improve their TV service it has nothing unique these days in my opinion. (Exception maybe all the sports in one bill). They once led with their On Demand service but these days it's probably one of the weaker offerings out there.

Absolutely, after having VM for 20+ years i now have Sky and it's a revelation to be honest. Sky Go is superb and the boxsets are on a par with Netflix and Prime.

The fact that VM don't even have all the Freeview channels is bloody shocking and as for VM Anywhere, as long as you have wifi, is taking the ****. Why it isn't available over 3G is beyond me.

VM's offering is really lagging behind as far as i'm concerned.

And i'm really sorry to say that

I'd say the ratio of people downloading Fear The Walking Dead, compared to those watching legally on AMC here in the UK must be about 100 to 1.... possibly even higher. Everyone I know who is a Walking Dead fan have seen the first 4 episodes yet none of them have AMC!

For those who aren't aware all 4 episodes of Fear The Walking Dead are on YouTube. They're in English but have Spanish subtitles. Picture and sound quality is pretty good. Very watch-able.

Last week AMC UK started to aire fear the walking dead at same time as it airs in USA.
I normally watch it on AMC usa on demand though as the adverts annoy me lol.
I think it's only a matter of time before AMC shows up on VM, i'm actually quite confident it will.

So, for TiVo customers, it could be said that for the time being Fear The Walking Dead IS available on VM :D
