Log in using the wonderful TV anywhere app and delete the recordings you don't want then :p

What if you don't have a smartphone or tablet? :p: Or in my case a Huawei y300 which isn't supported?

No you're not. Nor are you going to need to use reminders.

I didn't know you could do that! Do you know how that technically works?

AFAIK VM were offered Sky News HD from launch, but didn't think it was worth paying for and weren't desperate to play the 'HD channel numbers game" like Sky.

It wouldn't surprise me if you're right and I bet that this channel would now be available as a free add on to other channels to VM.

I often set reminders after choosing my nights viewing. I'd rather it didn't record as it uses valuable disc space if I fall asleep or get called out with work as ocassionally happens.

Having said that, it's not too much of an issue as there is a lot more disc space in the TiVo than their is in the V+.

Do people find the baby TiVo has adequate disc space?

The 500GB one is more than adequate for my wife and I. Think highest we got to was around 85% full and this was after a fortnight away last year.

However I guess it depends on the volume, type (series/movies) and quality (SD/HD) of the programmes each customer records as to whether you need 500GB or 1TB one to meet your needs.

Thanks for the feedback. Because of the price rises, I am still undecided as to whether to upgrade to a TiVo, or dump pay TV altogether.

Happy saturday all. Here's a question for you all. 2013 has been a great year for virgin media (except for the unnecessary price rises). If father vince rooney christmas could give you three presents for 2014 what would you want from VM?

Mine would be sky sports to be on tv anywhere. Missing sky channels. No more price rises :)

Whats everyone elses?

I would have liked to see Sky News in HD, but to be honest now that BBC News is HD , Sky can go whistle!. They missed a trick there.

I find some of the Presenters on Sky News a bit rubbish, and talk about over hype, Breaking News!, it's foggy in London. Come on.

I have always said only sky channels we got chance of getting is sky news HD and SSN HD no chance of others

My 'aye right that'll happen' are for Sunderland to stay up and for Sky Atlantic to close down just to shut people up wishing for an overrated channel whose very few good shows are easily available through clever use of VM's excellent broadband service!!

<sigh> Hangover rant over, that's better!!

Yeah, it is vastly overrated. I must say I have been pretty disappointed with Banshee (one program I was looking forward) so far. I know it is two shows in, but it seems pretty formulaic in everything I have seen so far. If that and Game Of Thrones is some of the best they are offering, it really does not convince me it will get much better.

Not sure I would want it closed down though, I would prefer to see it arrive for those who want it, but it would be nice to stop people banging on about it. That said, what else would people write on here?

C'mon Den, if SA was coming, it would be here by now. I thought for a long time it would come, but I think Netflix and BT sport deals have scuppered any chances of it coming in it's current guise.
