BizAsia: ARY Digital UK Ltd goes into liquidation.

Pakistani broadcaster, ARY Digital UK has gone into liquidation, according to details obtained from Companies House.

The Companies House says that ARY Digital UK Ltd has gone into "Voluntary Creditors Liquidation" due to heavy debts. In plain English, this means ARY Digital UK Ltd has brought about this itself and is being administered by a qualified Insolvency Practitioner.

ARY Digital is broadcasting on Virgin Channel 818.

Premier Sports do not have an HD Channel.

Why would VM link Premier sports to Sky premium channels and HD , can't see that being correct.

I have see no plans that Premier Sports is set to launch an HD Channel any time soon.

if you say three years that's 17 hd channels a year. 2 new hd channels this year so far, 15 hd channels to come this year ? this is just a estimate

It all good to say we want to launch 50 new HD Channels.

But it upto Virgin Media to sign the deal with an broadcaster to carry their HD Channels.

VM haven't said 17 channels a year, they said up to another 50 in tbe next 2-3 years - not the same thing.

Nothing has been confirmed on the ruddy Facebook page. Saying 'there are no plans at the moment' and 'in the future' is not a confirmation of anything whatsoever.

The account isn't there to ask queries about new channels and services, only to promote confirmed upcoming services while the Twitter account acts as a secondary customer service.

You better sit down Tony Dalton, Kyle Sanderson and Clive Knott... because we've got no more HD channels being added.

We've come along way in a year and a half, when we only had one HD channel (BBC HD). Now if you want any more, you'll have to go elsewhere.

Watch virginmedia.com because if we actually reveal anything before its on there we'll probably be given our marching orders.
