Indeed. If Northern Ireland wasn't in the UK it wouldn't be the UK, it would just be Great Britain (It's the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, for those that don't know).

For those with access to the Premier Sports app - they have now added 'PremierExtra' which offers some additional streams of live coverage when the other channels are occupied.

The UEFA Nations League live games are scheduled across Premier Sports 1, Premier Sports 2, BoxNation and Premier Extra ( https://www.live-footballontv.com/ue...gue-on-tv.html ).

Think this is not unexpected. Can't see them not allowing it given the wealth of players in the market and that BT Sport is loss-making

CMA to probe Discovery-BT Sport tie-up

The Competition and Markets Authority has opened an investigation into the anticipated joint venture between Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and BT for the operation of the BT Sport channels.

It will study whether the venture would lead to a “substantial lessening of competition”.

The CMA has advised both BT and Discovery of its plans. The initial Phase 1 period will complete by 28 July 2022, when a decision on whether to refer the merger for a Phase 2 investigation will be made.

Well, there’s a wealth of alleged players in the market. In practice many of them are keeping their billions in their deep pockets for now.

Has anyone seen anything about who won the UK TV rights for La Liga next season? I know Premier Sports have had them for the last couple of seasons.

SportBusiness says "Fite were in exclusive discussions to win the rights for three seasons, and sublicencing one game per week to ITV4."

I had seen that ,but nothing seems to have been confirmed by either La Liga or Fite Tv.
This is the latest I can find dated 9/5/22. https://media.sportbusiness.com/2022...th-fite-stall/

Terrible decision! Ratings at an all time low for la liga. See more kids in Paris SG shirts than Madrid or Barca these days. They will regret this!!

Disappointed that no deep pockets streamer went for this. Especially given the staggered time slots for La Liga - 20 hours of live games most weekends during the season.

PS are now doing extra streams in addition to their linear channels - so perhaps there will be more coverage.
