Closest I could find was

And bloody typical that Wigan's only goal was illegal. Henry eat your heart out.

What a game though. We could have easily had 3 more.

Yes.

There have been 9-0, 8-1, 7-2, 6-3, 5-4 but nothing with 10 goals.

Well done to Roberto Martinez for keeping the score below 10....

I wonder if he has any regrets about leaving Swansea after they reached their highest league position in 26 years on the weekend.

Henry sucks...

CLEANERS in Ireland have decided their Henry vacuum cleaners really suck - after Thierry Henry's handball ended the nation's World Cup dream

This made me laugh.... in the MLS there is a team called Real Salt Lake (as in Real Madrid), but they play in Barcelona's colours :p:

So much for the Kick It Out campaign...

Amr Zaki has astonishingly claimed that he will not consider signing for Portsmouth on the grounds that they employ two Israelis - Tal Ben Haim and Avram Grant - as well as an Algerian in the form of Nadir Belhadj.
As that is a completely racist statement, I wonder if FIFA will act on him? I say probably not. al-Faraj (a Saudi) deserves an honourable mention for employing Grant and Ben-Haim.

It proves he is a racist, I don't think he made a racist statement though. He just said "I do not want to work here because I am a racist". Just like "I don't want to work here because of the black people" is an admission of racism rather than a racist statement?

I don't think it does, did he say I don't want to work here because of Jews, no, good on him I say, Israel operates an apartheid system and it's about time people in the media spotlight had the balls to say so.

Who he objects to playing with/for because they are Israeli not because they are Jewish, there are loads of Jews in football who aren't Israeli like Juan Pablo Sorin and your own David Pleat who he may well have played with or for without issue.

So you think that descriminating on the basis that they are Israeli and not Jewish is not racist?

I almost thought you were serious there for a moment.

In case you are...

Definitions of 'race'
(rās)
Dictionary.com · The American Heritage® Dictionary - (21 definitions)

[French, from Old French, from Old Italian razza, race, lineage.]
(noun)

1. A local geographic or global human population distinguished as a more or less distinct group by genetically transmitted physical characteristics.
2. A group of people united or classified together on the basis of common history, nationality, or geographic distribution: the German race.
3. A genealogical line; a lineage.
4. Humans considered as a group.
5. Biology
1. An interbreeding, usually geographically isolated population of organisms differing from other populations of the same species in the frequency of hereditary traits. A race that has been given formal taxonomic recognition is known as a subspecies.
2. A breed or strain, as of domestic animals.
6. A distinguishing or characteristic quality, such as the flavor of a wine.
Note the word "geographic", mentioned several times.

And anyway, its news to me that Avram Grant and Tal Ben-Haim are solely responsible for Israel's policies for the last 40-odd years. You learn something new every day.
