Yes good news. I suppose they still expect you to have a Sky Sports subscription. Very unreasonable if so ;)

It is not a physical app in the V6 apps section. It sits behind the red button on the Sky Sports channels, so you can only access it if you are a Sky Sports subscriber. The app has always been there, it has just been upgraded so that the satellite feed Sky used to drive it can be shut down. If they could give us the full functionality, that would really be something!

It's apps that are missing from V6 not 360 - Apple TV+ , Disney+ , Paramount+ , MUBI and U app.

Discovery+ is noticeable one missing from both and I wouldn't expect it to ever get added now.

I agree - I think we’ll have to wait for the Max app before we get the Discovery+ content. Talks on that have been held already with Virgin Media.

It depends what you want from the system, Itshim. There’s no watchlist on Smart TVs, for example.

Never used it , as you say depends what you need , does the v6 not have something that would work ?

If you mean watchlists, yes, but it’s called bookmarking on the TiVo, if I remember correctly.

Or just ignore them as with most FAST channels. ;)

Or dedicated streaming devices as they are always going to have more apps available than Virgin boxes or smart TVs (except maybe Roku o/s TVs although they tend to be low spec.)

This reminds me of many years ago when you used to make similar claims for Sky Atlantic. :D

Especially when new subscriptions or even being to resubscribe will stop in early 2026 when Max launches

They are actually shutting down Discovery+ this month in Spain and The Netherlands next Monday, Brazil in January.

It was reported in The FT reported that WBD is in discussions with other platforms including Amazon Prime, Virgin Media, and EE about Max.

Sure but you aren't going to use the apps it doesn't have if you don't have any other devices.

It has been reported in various places but that's my point. Back in the day the press often reported that Sky and Virgin were in discussions over Sky Atlantic. My only concern here is why not add Discovery+ as a precursor app.?
I really don't see why Virgin TV users shouldn't get to see the number of cookies Discovery+ tries to force on its paying users.

If you’re content with what you have, Itshim, then be happy!
