BT Sports and Sky Atlantic being on the XL Pack is just an rumour. The same as Technix on DS reporting that Universal HD and E! HD was set to launch on Virgin Media - over six months ago.

I still think Sky Atlantic will be in the XL package and the 3 BT Sports channels will be a standalone add-on item like BoxNation.

I really cannot see BT Sports being on Sky for £12/£15 a month and being basically free in a VirginMedia package.

ESPN was extra on sky and free with XL on VM or have you forgot that ;)

Yeah well sky users could easily switch to bt broadband and not have to change their tv service, bt don't seem to be giving virgin users that option, bt broadband and bt sports free to watch on virgin tv

This is what will happen on Thursday 1st August in my opinion - BT Sports SD/HD will be add-on at £12/£15 a month - Sky Atlantic SD/HD will launch in the XL (and above) packages on channels 119 & 120 - and the following channels will also launch:
Sky1+1
Sky News HD
Sky Sports News HD
Sky Atlantic+1
MTV Classic
Comedy Central Extra+1
Universal HD
then I woke up and found it was all a dream... :)
