Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
This thread is massive - so excuse me if I am asking a question that is already been answered (but I have looked 1st!).
I'm on 750K, and I guess will soon be on 2MB Question - Do I just sit back and wait for the upgrade to occur automatically (as per the NTL web site), OR do I need to ring up, or visit some web-page to make it happen? |

you can do it online by visiting the tier migration page.... http://www.ntlworld.com/data-feeds/e...tierMigration/ or contact customer services and see who answers the phone officially the csr's are advised that these speed upgrades are for new customers and that existing customers will automatically get the speed upgrades... however as you have noticed a lot of csr's seem to be upgrading customers anyway (which really is a bad customer experience as you have noticed with some being upgraded and some being told to wait :( ) |
Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
ive rung C/S 3 times and got 3 different answers :erm:
1. I have put it through it will be done in a couple of hours. = lie coz its instant 2. U need to ring t/s so rung em please ring C/s 3. you will recieve a letter about the update im so confused and it dont take much to get me confused :dunce: O BTW the famous 1 its automatic whilst others a manually doing it online |
Re: New Speed Upgrades 8th March. (Part 3)
Just got the 3Mbit upgrade there. Had to phone CS for it because my connection is "not appropriate for an online upgrade" apparently.
