Osem Jnr#2 did really well at his Christmas show and made us all very proud. :)

Excellent Osem and quite right to be proud.
Well done boy's.

My old workplace has just had a short video produced about it by the Atlantic magazine.

Thanks guys. Yes we're very proud and quite relieved. Anything which will help Osem Jnr get a decent job is more than welcome.

Independently, we've also managed to arrange him another placement in a special needs school so he can broaden his experience. :)

Congratulations dilli and Natalie, hope you were able to celebrate with some marmite this morning dilli?

And also, relative had engine management light come on in her car, took it to garage and for checking the car over, making sure spark plugs were in secure and nipping them (whatever that means) and fixing their rearview mirror back on cost the grand total of... £0. All it cost was sitting on her bum for 2 hours while it was looked at.

My old man looks as though he's going to be making it through to Christmas and beyond (touching wood). He seems to be holding his own, is still getting about a bit and not in any pain or losing any weight so that's pretty much we could have hoped for. :)

I once (on a night out) had a very drunk man come up to me, convinced I was Mick Hucknall... in the end I just gave up, did him an autograph, shook his hand, and told him that it was always a pleasure to meet a fan.

Had my first experience today of an amazon locker. It was pleasantly painless (other than trying to get 5 packages back to the carpark )

Well I suppose 'holding your own' is inevitable after so many years of marriage... :)
