Cable Forum - The Happy Thought Thread

Currently my mum is recuperating at my sisters, as she has a downstairs loo, and as my mum had spend over 10 weeks in bed her leg muscles need building up.

On Sunday she is come home for a while to see how she can cope with our stairs.

Hopefully she'll be home next weekend, some 140 days after she went into hospital.

That will be nice for you , Hope she is ok with the stairs

Start with your Irish ancestors. Tracing them doesn't need to be as difficult as you think depending on how far back they came over and providing you know which townland they were from.

Most of the census returns before 1901 were destroyed by fire at the Four Courts in 1922 but the civil registration records and many of the parish registers (particularly the RC ones) that were deposited there survived.

My happy thought - went out with my dad today and got loads of stuff to decorate my chair again - :)

Tinsel, battery lights, battery wreath - and a little battery Christmas tree ;)

If I still feel fluffy after getting it all on there I'll post a picture later on.

Maybe next year you could go for a themed look. Saw someone at hospital yesterday who was wearing a Rudolf flashing nose with antlers on his chair. :D
