I class all information these days as rumours too tbh as in my eyes nothing is confirmed until it actually shows up on the virgin epg which i rely on you guys for that info for these days lol as i just use on demand and online services now.

This was not a dig at you theone. As with MB, I appreciate you making the effort to let us know. I also undertsand the need to respect your sources wishes, I have never belittled any other dnp's from anyone before. This one just baffles me.
Even taking into account the only "one person knowing the rumour" argument (seems unlikely only a couple of people in two major businesses would hear this rumour) why would they be sworn to secrecy if they freely admit something may happen on the back of a rumour? Unless your source is the second-in-command to a head honcho at either Universal or VM, he must have been given the rumour from someone else who already knows said rumour - thus making it unlikely that your source will be suspected.
Still, I do not know the full ins and outs of the process, so it was wrong of me to question it (even if it does baffle me).
Apologies if I offended you with my post, I will try and be clearer with my thought process in future, or even better not post anything about it:). |
