Media Boy EXCLUSIVE: Virgin Media sign new deal with Discovery.

My Virgin Insider has told me that Virgin Media has signed an new deal with Discovery to carry their SD Channels.

NOTE: I have been told that Virgin do not know if they will carry all of them or just some.

i would hope we get quest in the deal and Investigation Discovery, the plus 1 and plus 2 channels, are a luxury that Virgin probably wont want, with everything else going on with trying to make space for HD and all the network changes

Virgin said it was continuing to add new HD channels such as Eurosport HD and Discovery HD. The group does not yet carry an ITV HD service, but Mr Berkett said the two parties were still talking. Asked if it would be available in time for the World Cup in June, he said he “would be very disappointed if it wasn’t.”
