The SWIFT lockout is only partial at the moment. It could be expanded. The Ukrainians could also be given access to some tastier hardware than the relatively basic stuff they have had so far (not to understate the effectiveness of that kit though).

He couldn’t give a toss about Biden, he wouldn’t be doing what he’s doing if he did.

Much the same as Obama’s….the Dems in the US have form for being impotent with their “ red lines”

Cross this and I’ll do……………………..absolutely nothing, so there.

Well actually it isn’t. Trump isn’t Putin’s fan boy. Putin must have really hated Trump when Trump warned Germany to not buy Russian gas back in 2018. Germany ignored him and bought Russian gas, contributing the war chest funds Putin needed.

The first weekend Russia invaded Ukraine, what did Joe Biden do, did he double down and stay in the White House in case Putin stepped in to NATO territory, depending how well he’d do in first 48 hours?

No, Joe Biden went to his private home in Delaware.

His cackling VP, Kamala Harris, fares no better, in Poland yesterday, while discussing refugee crisis and thought it was amusing. Yeah sure, this current Administration is a joke and is the sole reason Putin is doing what he’s doing in Ukraine. Putin annexed Crimea during President Obama’s Presidency, now taking Ukraine during Biden’s. The Afghanistan walk away and now this, Biden’s foreign policy is in tatters and he has just short of 3 more years.

You really struggle to read the room properly don’t you with everything.

I think it's now apparent that the West responded too weakly towards Russia in 2014 although that's with hindsight. But interestingly, the arguments advanced then about not upsetting Russia are the same arguments we're advancing for not imposing a no-fly zone or donating aircraft to Ukraine.

Why is that interesting ? Why do you think they would be any different ?

He should've, Donny's America first policy might have made it much easier for him to get away with, plus knowing that guys deeply flawed character he may have even held a grudge against Zelensky for his second impeachment, that's without the creepy Putin's a genius message and some aid or other yesterday saying the thing donny most admired about vlad was that he could have anyone he wanted killed!!! All speculation really, we'll never know what would've happened, won't stop people trying to make political capital out of other peoples suffering though, especially aggravating given the amount of US politicians who have apparently taken money from Russians.

Well we all know Crooked Hillary and the DNC, paid for the Trump Russia fake dossier, who they allegedly pay?

Russians!

Of course it is all speculation. However, Putin saw the Afghanistan U.S pull out being done, gung ho style and he became more galvanised to take Ukraine.

The unpredictable nature of Trump stopped Putin, the Biden play book was set after Afghanistan withdrawal.

The response was very weak. There would still have been no direct conflict between NATO and Russia, but if we had been tough on sanctions as we are being now and not continued to suckle on his gas and oil, he may not have considered going after all it. But the West gave him no reason to be fearful of that.

BREAKING: Russia threatens to target foreign military aid convoys to Ukraine.

Russian Deputy FM Sergey Ryabkov said that Moscow had warned the U.S. that convoys of foreign weapons would be “legitimate targets for the Russian Armed Forces,” as cited by Russian media RIA Novosti.

NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg had earlier said that a Russian attack on the supply lines of allied nations supporting Ukraine would be “a dangerous escalation of the war.” - Kyiv Independent

Depends where the convoy is when hit.
If it's actually in Ukraine then yeah, legitimate target . . . unless carrying the Red Cross identification . . which it won't be.

supply lines, logistics and all that . . .

I think the relevant word was "to", not "in"...

Yes I know, which is why I said 'Depends where the convoy is'

What happens when it reaches the border?

Hopefully the Red Cross/Cresent will take over the distribution of humanitarian aid such as THIS into Ukraine itself. They are already operating in Ukraine and making deliveries.
