But at least you saw the rarity of a English player scoring a ton.;)

Did you see any of Pakistan v Australia? Now there was an exciting match... 14 wickets fell in 5 days, i.e less than 3 a day ! Still, nice to see cricket back in Pakistan.

What an absolute shambles, needs ROOT and branch surgery. His captaincy is very poor at the best of times but to be brutally honest the whole team is just not good enough.

Root should have stepped down from the captaincy a long time ago as its been very clear for a long time that he does not possess the skillset to be a good captain.

As for England's batting its been a shambles generally for several years now.

He's not captain material, but we're kidding ourselves if sacking him will solve England's problems. Too much white ball, money chasing, "100'/20/20 crap. We've forgotten how to play proper cricket.
Not the players fault it's those that run the game in this country. They are only interested in money/tv contracts.

Joe Root resigns as England captain. If he concentrates on his batting that will be good for all concerned.

Is this ‘wokeism’ gone mad. Just checking on Lancashires Roses match today at Headingley, to find the ground is now called The Clean Slate Headingley.

Off to the other Old Trafford shortly. First T20 of the season against the old enemy.

Both sides stacked with top notch batsmen, come on Lanky.
