Whoops - I misread that! Yes, 400 GB is no good at all for me. My 1 TB TIVO is already 90% full!

It is sounding like the most likely option that it will be in XL, although there are other possibilities around this. For example, ESPN might be part of XL and you pay a few quid more for BT Sports 1 & 2.

I'm hoping for all the football fans out there that VM are offering the whole package on XL (or even VIP). It would be a very good deal and one I have been hoping for since negotiations began.

I am just glad that people are finally starting to accept that we will get the channels on Saturday.

I was on to retentions in Middlesborough today and the chap there said it would NOT be launching this weekend, but expected it to be launched next week sometime, no specific date was mentioned, read into that what you will!

The other point to make about this is that if people really really wanted the channel they probably would have moved for it by now, or made other arrangements. If it's offered as a premium add on by Virgin there will likely be very low take up. If BT are offering it to Virgin they'll want a return on the deal, and I just can't see how subscriptions to premium channel will provide that.

We must all accept by now people on the phone and retentions know nothing about BT sport. The only people who know are the people who've done the deal or people working on the channel launch.

Other than that it's constant lies, confusions and generic fobbing off
