That is scary, I was just thinking that Man city looked like arsenal of a few years ago, pretty football, so wondered if they would lose a goal..and they did :)

It seems a lot of clubs are scaling back their transfer fees (other than City and Chelsea of course). I wonder if that was a blip or if this is the reality from now on and FFP is starting to work?

FFP is making clubs think twice and has meant cut backs meaning lack of activity and more inhouse restruture being done. Activity will pick up once clubs have sorted themselves out though. That said I'm not entirely sure whether the inflation seen now will be lowered. Club sponsorship, league and ever growing interest will pump more money in.
