MLS resigns with ESPN.

ESPN will show Major League Soccer again this year starting on Friday Morning at 2.30am with Chicago Fire VS Real Salt Lake.

They Launch skysports on BtVision on the 31/7 so would expect similar timescale here for the hd variants.

Virgin Media are to remove some of their '''RF Bypass signals''.

RF Bypass is a system that has been used by Analogue, Digital and non customers for years whereby they’re able to get their Terrestrial channels (Channels 1 -5) separately from their normal service.

Glasgow
Channel 5 will close on Tuesday 13 July
BBC2 and Channel 4 will close an week later on July 20th
BBC1 and ITV (STV) will then close on July 27th.

Luton and Beds
All the MATV services will be remove on Tuesday July 13th.

quitea lot most of it goign to 100/200/400mb , 5/10/20/50mb upload conenction

but it oculd give about 3-5 hd channesl depending on ocmpression etc

Virgin Media update (July 8th).

I have been told that Virgin Media will remove NME Radio from Channel 975 ''In the next few days''.

I have also been told that Virgin will launch Film4 HD on Channel 429 sometime soon ahead of it July 20th launch date. Viewers will see an ''Film4 HD launches here'' sign when it launch until July 20th.

As far as I know FIVE HD will only launch on Sky on Tuesday and NOT Virgin Media. But that time of posting FIVE HD was testing on Virgin Media but no Insiders can confrim to me that Virgin will launch FIVE HD on Tuesday.

As a few people have mention regarding the price when Sky HD arrives, I've been told it will not cost extra as Virgin would have advertised by e-mail when people got there e-mails regarding this subject. Sky dropping the HD extra cost is going to make it an interesting summer as too who signs up to what.

Don't know about rumours, but I assumed the dropping of the £10 HD charge is in conjunction with their usual September Price changes.

It has been mentioned the £10 will be dropped for customers who take the sports or the movies pack how true it is i dont know.

We expect to have between 20 and 30 channels by the summer.

Someone forgot to tell Virgin that Summer started 1st June....;)

Hello all, long time snooper of this forum.

Just been over a mates house and he has a dodgy box set up, noticed he had HD varients of the sky movie channels. His box wasn't HD though so i couldn't actually see anything on them... Figured i'd let you know they are testing them. Didn't check for Sports HD though (slipped my mind completely)
