Just rebooted my modem in cf24 and it has been upgraded to 10mb. Wow, finally! Strange they never posted a month when it would be done by, then just did it overnight.

Have now been upgraded in CF11!

Maximum Downstream Data Rate : 10240000
Maximum Upstream Data Rate : 512000

I have to say I am very satisfied with that - from problem to resolution in a couple of hours with only a couple of postings to a newsgroup. not bad.

I've also had the golden touch of newsgroup tech support - They are an asset to VM :nworthy:

10mb..... oh wait, I'm in a STM time zone. Guess I'll have to wait a while

Oh and :welcome: to CF :)

That'd be DOCSIS 3, EuroDOCSIS is what the formerly Cable and Wireless areas fed from Bromley SHE use. Most broadband downstreams are already 256QAM apart from some of the Bromley areas which remain 64QAM but deliver equivalent bandwidth to the 256QAM non-Bromley areas.
