If he doesn't turn up, she'll get judgement in default, he'll pay up what the judge awards and he'll not have been cross-examined.

Personally I hope he tries defending the case. His come-uppance, though well under way, is not complete.

I have no problem rescinding that view if the civil court rules against him.

He doesn’t have much between his ears, so I think perhaps we should reserve judgement until we get some facts.

You should make that your signature ;).

I'm surprised there isn't some ancient law that he could quote about it being a royal prerogative like eating swans etc.

That’ll be next - the old "Crown Property" loophole…

Bozo and Andy should collude, sure they could come up with something about Andy stumbling into her by accident when he thought he was at work with Jeff and Andy could say bozo was with him in pizza express on the night of the parties, neither perspired at any time, job done

The case however is in New York, and 16 is the legal age for sex in the UK.

That account does not exactly help any case of 'assult';

Quote:

Mrs Andriano told the Daily Mail that Virginia Giuffre sent her a text message from London in March 2001, telling her she was going to dinner with Maxwell, Epstein and Prince Andrew.

She said: I asked her if she'd been to the palace.

And she said, ‘I got to sleep with him.’

I said ‘What? You're f** with me," and she said, ‘no, I got to sleep with him.’

Mrs Andriano continued: She didn't seem upset about it.

She thought it was pretty cool.

Wonders why she didn't go after anyone else in that case?

Their Mothers aren't as rich....

He/She/we will pay whatever is needed to make this go away, but it won't. Payment is as good as an admission of guilt.

Anyone genuinely innocent would also want their day in court to clear their name.

That’s not how the rich roll.

Court is a game of chance that needn’t be played. Especially civil court. Participating just increases your losses.
